 ABOUT ME 

Iona is an Actor Musician, Puppeteer, Facilitator and Theatre Maker who specialises in working with underrepresented groups in the community and people with the most barriers to access and those labelled with PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities). She is particularly focussed in sustainable and sensory theatre.

 

She trained at East 15 Acting School studying Acting and Community Theatre.

She has worked on various projects in a variety of different roles catering for specific and diverse audiences.

Iona is a facilitator for The Paper Birds, Oily Cart and Frozen Light and a current board member for Assitej UK.

Iona is the Co-creator of

Stories in the Dust, a sustainable, climate themed show made for and with young people aged 5 - 12, alongside Anna Harriott

 

She has recently co authored a scientific paper entitled Stories in the Dust: The Arts as a Medium to Communicate Climate Science Research, which features in the publication Civic Partners in Net Zero, produced by the Key Cities Innovation Network. Click here to read more.
